Vivek Joshi brings significant leadership experience to LumaSense Technologies. He is an executive with experience in various industries, spanning private equity, high technology, diversified industrial manufacturing and healthcare. Most recently, he was CEO of LumaSense Technologies Inc., an Operating Partner at Shah Capital Partners and Senior Vice President of Marketing for Sun Services, a $3.6 billion division of Sun Microsystems. He also served at Webvan as Vice-President of Program Operations, at GE Transportation as General Manager, Off Highway/Transit Systems, GE Corporate as Manager of Corporate Initiatives; Management Consulting with Booz Allen & Hamilton and operational experiences with Johnson & Johnson. Vivek has an M.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia , Charlottesville and a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT, Mumbai.

Steve Abely joined LumaSense Technologies in July of 2012 as CFO and became the new CEO in February 2013. He has over 25 years of experience leading technology and manufacturing companies. While President and CFO of StorMedia, Steve oversaw the company through its IPO and tripled the company’s annual revenue. Over his seven-year tenure as CFO of Bookham (now Oclaro), a leading supplier of optical components and subsystems, Steve led the company through several major acquisitions. Steve holds a BA in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Tony Downer joined the Oak team as Director-Private Equity following a fourteen-year career as a Managing Director at Cornerstone Equity Investors, a middle market private equity firm with over $1.2 billion under management. At Cornerstone, Tony led the management buyout of a number of technology and tech-related companies as well as acted as the lead investor for numerous later-stage expansion financings. Prior to Cornerstone, Tony worked at the private equity groups at T. Rowe Price Associates and the Harvard Management Company. Tony currently serves as a director of EquaTerra, Geotrace Technologies, iTouch Ventures Limited and SecureWorks. He earned his BA, JD and MBA from Harvard University

Nate Kawaye has served in general management, operations and senior financial positions for major technology companies for the past 30 years. Most recently Nate served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise Group of Celestica Corporation responsible for providing contract manufacturing services for major computer and telecommunications technology companies. This was a $4.5 Billion dollar operation with global manufacturing, development and customer relationship responsibilities. Prior to Celestica, Nate was one of the founding executives of International Manufacturing Services (IMS), served as their Chief Financial Officer, and assisted in taking IMS public in 1997. Nate also served as the CFO of Maxtor corporation, a Fortune 500 company, Sigma Circuits and Priam Corporation, and as a Group Controller for Intel Corporation. Nate earned his BA in Biochemistry from U.C. Berkeley, and his MBA in Finance from UCLA.

Michael E. Lehman brings more than 35 years of senior-level financial management experience to his role as Palo Alto Networks’ first CFO, where he oversees the company’s finance, accounting, and manufacturing functions. Mike joined Palo Alto Networks from Sun Microsystems, where he served two stints as chief financial officer, after joining the company in 1987, and was responsible for its finance, legal, real estate, public policy, corporate planning/strategy, and information resources functions. Before joining Sun, Mike was a senior manager in the San Francisco office of Price Waterhouse, the international accounting firm. He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin in 1974. He is a member of the Finance MBA advisory board of the Graduate School of Business at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, a board member of the University of Wisconsin Foundation, and a director of MGIC Investment Corporation.

David Walrod is an independent investor. Dave focuses on investments in wireline and wireless communications, semiconductors, as well as Internet services and infrastructure He is currently on the board of directors of several companies, including Caspian, CoVi Technologies, Integrated Solutions, NextG Networks, Qsent, Ultradots and Wave7 Optics. Dave received his B.A. in Physics from the University of California at Berkeley and earned a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
